Accenture Cuts Over 11,000 Jobs Amid AI-Driven Restructuring

Accenture has laid off more than 11,000 employees globally over the past three months as part of an $865 million restructuring. CEO Julie Sweet said workers unable to be retrained in AI-related skills are being “exited.” Despite the cuts, the company plans to expand overall headcount going forward and is investing in upskilling current staff to align with its AI-first strategy.
