Apple and Anthropic Tease AI Coding Features in Xcode

Apple is reportedly testing AI-powered coding assistants in Xcode through a partnership with Anthropic. Leaked screenshots suggest an integrated “AI Code Reviewer” that explains errors and suggests fixes, plus an “AI Function Writer” that generates boilerplate based on comments. Built on Anthropic’s Claude models, these tools aim to boost developer productivity. Apple plans a limited beta for select developers before broader rollout later in 2025.
