Cognition has rolled out hierarchical budgets for its AI coding agent, Devin, allowing enterprises to map spending directly to their organizational charts. Administrators can now delegate and monitor AI consumption limits up to three levels deep across different departments and projects. If an assigned budget is completely exhausted, active agent sessions stop immediately, bringing strict financial governance to autonomous software development.
