Is Your Playlist Fake? Deezer Launches Free Detector to Unmask AI Music

Music platform Deezer has launched a free online tool allowing users across 20 major streaming services—including Spotify and Apple Music—to scan their playlists for AI-generated tracks. The move follows data showing that 43% of users transferring to Deezer already have synthetic music in their libraries. By exposing these tracks, Deezer aims to protect artist royalties, which a study warns could suffer a €4 billion annual hit from AI by 2028.
