Tokyo-based AI SaaS startup LayerX has closed a $100 million Series B round, led by Technology Cross Ventures—marking TCV’s first Japanese investment. The platform, known for flagship product Bakuraku, streamlines corporate expense workflows like invoice processing and card management, already serving over 15,000 companies. Other offerings include Alterna and AI Workforce.
