U.S. analytics firm Palantir has sought to ease European fears over technology dependence by confirming its battlefield AI system used by NATO contains no remote "kill switch." As European nations voice concerns following past private-firm service disruptions, Palantir clarified that European clients retain full, independent operational control of the software without any possibility of a remote shutdown by the U.S.
