Nscale Raises $1.1B Led by Aker to Scale Global AI Infrastructure
Nscale, a UK-based AI infrastructure startup backed by NVIDIA, has secured $1.1 billion in a funding round led by Norwegian industrial group Aker, which contributed $285 million for a 9.3% stake. The valuation comes in at about $3 billion. Other investors include Dell, Nokia, Fidelity, and G Squared. The capital will fuel Nscale’s expansion of hyperscale data centres across Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East—aimed at meeting rising demand for sovereign and scalable AI capabilities.
