British Prime Minister Andy Burnham is announcing a joint UK–US defence partnership on artificial intelligence and autonomous systems during the UN General Assembly. Collaborating via Britain's Defence Rapid AI Delivery Taskforce and the US CDAO, the alliance aims to speed the deployment of interoperable AI capabilities, enhance military deterrence, and protect critical national infrastructure against emerging global threats.
