GameStop teams up with Australian blockchain firm to build NFT marketplace

<p>In a partnership with an Australian blockchain firm, GameStop Corp. announced it will create a marketplace for nonfungible tokens later this year, diving into a hot but unproven area of tech as the videogame retailer works to turn around its struggling business. GameStop also said it intends to create a fund with a carbon-neutral platform, called Immutable X, of up to $100M to be distributed to developers for creating NFTs for its marketplace that could be used in games.</p>
