Accel Nears Close of New India Fund at $650 Million

Accel India is finalizing its eighth fund, securing $650 million in commitments to invest in early-stage startups. Additionally, Accel's global growth fund has raised $1.35 billion, with a portion allocated for pre-IPO rounds of Indian companies. This brings Accel's total commitments in India to nearly $3 billion, coinciding with several portfolio firms, including Bluestone, preparing for public listings.
