Amazon CEO Andy Jassy believes AWS could reach $1 trillion in annual revenue within five to ten years. AWS revenue grew 39% year over year, reaching a $184 billion annualized run rate. Amazon plans approximately $220 billion in capital expenditure for 2026, mostly directed toward AWS, with even higher spending expected in 2027. Jassy forecasts AWS growth above 40% in both 2027 and 2028, driven by rising enterprise AI demand.
