AMD & DOE Partner on $1B AI Supercomputers

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and AMD have launched a $1 billion partnership to build two next-generation AI supercomputers, Lux and Discovery, at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. These systems, featuring AMD Instinct accelerators, are designed to accelerate breakthroughs in critical areas like nuclear fusion energy, national security, and cancer research, strengthening America's AI leadership.
