Asha Ventures Secures $10 Million from BII to Advance Impact Investments in India

Mumbai-based impact investor Asha Ventures has raised $10 million from British International Investment (BII) for its debut fund, targeting a total corpus of $91 million. The fund focuses on high-growth, impact-driven early-to-growth stage businesses in India, emphasizing financial inclusion, job creation, and climate resilience. Managing partner Amit Mehta anticipates the fund's final close by September 2025. Current investments include Ascend Capital, TrueMeds, and AutoMony.
