Bain Capital Ventures Raises $1.6B to Invest in AI and Emerging Tech

Bain Capital Ventures has raised a new $1.6 billion fund, 14% larger than its previous fund. The firm plans to invest primarily in AI-focused startups and infrastructure, with key areas including healthcare, physical AI, security and computing infrastructure. BCV expects to back 30–40 companies, mainly from seed through Series B stages.
