Bending Spoons Buys Vimeo for $1.38B in All-Cash Deal, Taking It Private

Vimeo has agreed to be acquired by Milan-based app developer Bending Spoons in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.38 billion. Vimeo shareholders will receive $7.85 per share, a 91% premium over its recent trading prices. The deal, approved unanimously by Vimeo’s board, is expected to close in Q4 2025, after which Vimeo will be delisted and become a private company.
