Chara Technologies Raises $6.2M to Scale Rare-Earth-Free Motor Manufacturing
Bengaluru-based Chara Technologies, a deeptech startup developing motors without rare-earth elements, has secured $6.2 million in a funding round led by Arkam Ventures, with backing from Exfinity, Kalaari Capital, and IIMA Ventures. The funds will support setting up a factory and a testing facility to scale its powertrain platform toward an annual capacity of 100,000 units.
