Crisil Sees Two-Wheeler Sales Rising 5–6% This Fiscal After GST Cut
Crisil Ratings projects a 56% increase in two-wheeler sales this fiscal year, fueled by the GST Councils recent rationalization of tax rates, effective September 22. The move is expected to boost demand significantlyby approximately 200 basis points, while improving affordability and streamlining compliance. Passenger vehicle sales may also rise 23%, gaining a 100 bps uplift.
