Crypto Mogul Do Kwon Gets 15 Years for $40 Billion Fraud
A US court sentenced crypto tycoon Do Kwon to 15 years in prison for fraud linked to the $40 billion collapse of his company, Terraform Labs. Kwon, who marketed his TerraUSD stablecoin as the "next big thing," was also ordered to forfeit over $19 million. His sentence follows a guilty plea in August, and he still faces fraud charges in his native South Korea.
