DM Only, Please: Why Goldman Sachs’ CEO Stopped Texting Elon Musk

Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon clarified that rumors he pitched SpaceX’s historic IPO to Elon Musk via X (formerly Twitter) direct messages are false.Solomon explained that while they do DM regularly, it is simply because Musk stopped using traditional calls, texts, and emails a year ago, instructing contacts to use X instead. Goldman Sachs coordinated the massive $75 billion IPO directly with SpaceX’s executive deal team.
