Eternal Caps Foreign Ownership at 49.5% to Boost Blinkit's Inventory Model
Zomato and Blinkit parent company Eternal has approved a proposal to cap foreign ownership at 49.5%, positioning itself as an Indian-owned-and-controlled company (IOCC). This strategic move allows Blinkit to transition from a marketplace model to holding inventory directly, enhancing margins, especially in fragmented or unbranded categories and established FMCG segments.
