European Space Giants Merge to Battle Starlink

Airbus, Thales, and Leonardo have agreed to merge their satellite operations into a new joint venture, set to launch by 2027, pending regulatory approval. This consolidation aims to counter rivals like SpaceX's Starlink and strengthen Europe's autonomy in the strategic space sector. The new entity is projected to have annual revenues of $7.58 billion.
