Fermi Files for IPO, Backed by Rick Perry, to Fuel Nuclear-Powered AI Data Center

Fermi, a Texas-based energy and data-center developer co-founded by former U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry, has filed for an IPO to raise public capital. The company plans listings on Nasdaq (ticker: FRMI) and the London Stock Exchange, with UBS, Cantor, and Mizuho leading the offering. Fermi’s vision includes building a massive, hybrid energy-powered data campus combining nuclear, solar, and natural gas to meet soaring AI infrastructure demands.
