Foreign-Born CEOs Lead Half of US Chip Companies

The CEO of the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), Jodi Shelton, revealed that half of all publicly traded U.S. semiconductor companies are led by foreign-born CEOs. Shelton made the comments while criticizing a proposed $100,000 fee on new H-1B petitions for foreign workers, calling it "a slap in the face" that ignores the US industry's reliance on global talent.
