Global AI Spending to Surge 60% in 2025 as Investment Diversifies Beyond Big Tech

Global artificial intelligence (AI) spending is projected to increase by 60% year-over-year in 2025, reaching $360 billion, and further rise by 33% in 2026 to $480 billion, according to UBS. While the Big Four tech giants—Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, and Meta—will continue to account for a significant portion, their combined share is expected to decline from 58% in 2025 to 52% in 2026, indicating a broader distribution of AI investments.
