South Korea will launch a 5 trillion won ($3.52 billion) semiconductor fund targeting local chip materials, components, and fabless firms. To accelerate mega-cluster developments in regions like Yongin, the government is also providing $3.5 billion in trade finance, fast-tracking infrastructure permits, and securing long-term power and water supplies to safeguard its global chip leadership.
