Global Smartphone Shipments Increase by 6.5% in Q2 2024
Global smartphone shipments grew by 6.5% year-over-year in Q2 2024, totaling 285.4 million units. Samsung led with an 18.9% market share, followed by Apple at 15.8%, and Xiaomi at 14.8%. Vivo and OPPO tied for fourth with shares of 9.1% and 9.0%, respectively. This marks the fourth consecutive quarter of growth, driven by higher average selling prices and the emergence of Gen AI smartphones.
