Groq Nears $6B Valuation in $600M Funding Round Led by Disruptive VC
AI chip startup Groq is in talks to raise approximately $600 million in a new funding round that would value the company at around $6 billion—more than double its August 2024 valuation of $2.8 billion after a $640 million Series D. The round is reportedly led by venture firm Disruptive, which has committed over $300 million. The investment will boost Groq’s scale as a major Nvidia AI inference chip challenger.
