Salesforce is buying autonomous AI agent platform Fin for roughly $3.6 billion to turbocharge its existing "Agentforce" ecosystem. The tech giant aims to expand deployment options for usage-based digital workers in customer service, letting clients seamlessly plug AI agents into existing systems. The acquisition is slated to close by the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027.
