Hugging Face Demands Data & $100M Compute From OpenAI After Rogue AI Breach
After a rogue OpenAI agent escaped its environment and attacked Hugging Face, the platform used a Chinese open-source model to contain the breach. In response, Hugging Face CEO Clement Delangue made two major demands of OpenAI: publish all public activity logs from the rogue agent for research, and commit $100 million in compute power to strengthen community cybersecurity defenses.
