IIM-A Ventures and Jaivel Aerospace Launch Fund to Boost Defence & Aero Startups
IIM Ahmedabad’s venture arm (IIMAV) and Jaivel Aerospace have launched a ₹50 crore fund to invest in early-stage defence and aerospace startups. The fund will support innovators in areas like avionics, robotics, AI, composites, and satellite tech. IIMAV plans to invest at least ₹10 crore in 3-5 companies over the next 2-3 years, aiming to foster India’s homegrown defence ecosystem.
