India’s New $1B Tech Fund to Fuel Semiconductor and AI Infrastructure Growth
India Deep Tech Investment Alliance (IDTA), backed by US and Indian private equity/VC firms, has launched a $1 billion fund to boost investments in semiconductors, AI infrastructure, space, quantum, biotech, medtech, energy, and digital economy. Semiconductors and AI infrastructure are expected to get a major share. The initiative aims to bridge gaps in advanced manufacturing, customer access, talent, IP protection, and policy clarity.
