Intel-Nvidia Deal Could Power Intel’s 14A Chip Manufacturing Leap

Intel’s recent $5 billion investment by Nvidia (for ~4% stake) includes a partnership to develop joint products combining Intel CPUs and Nvidia’s GPUs using NVLink. This collaboration could boost Intel’s upcoming 14A manufacturing process (2027), which needs high volume demand to justify its build costs. Analysts say the deal offers Intel better footing against competitors like AMD, and possibly greater use of its own foundries.
