IPO-Bound Boat Faces Auditor Flags for Financial Mismatch
Auditors for IPO-bound consumer electronics maker Boat flagged multiple instances of mismatch in the financial statements filed with its lenders versus the company’s internal books for fiscal years 2023–2025. The company disclosed "unfavorable remarks" from its auditors, also raising concerns over the use of short-term funds for long-term purposes by a subsidiary.
