Jio & Airtel Accelerate AI & Cloud Expansions to Tap India’s $58B Opportunity
Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel are scaling up investments in AI, cloud services, and data centres to capture India’s rapidly growing cloud market—from $15B today to $58B by 2030—with AI projected to add $1.5T to GDP. Jio is bundling cloud with connectivity and focusing on both consumer and enterprise offerings. Airtel, via Nxtra, is building sovereign cloud capacity, expanding its data centre footprint, and partnering for open-source AI delivery.
