Meta Seeks $29 B Private Capital for U.S. AI Data Center Build-Out

Meta Platforms is in advanced discussions to secure $29 billion in funding from top private capital firms—$3 billion in equity and $26 billion in debt—to finance its AI-focused data center expansion in the U.S. Major investors include Apollo, KKR, Brookfield, Carlyle, and PIMCO, structured in collaboration with Morgan Stanley. This initiative supports Meta’s aggressive AI infrastructure agenda, aligning with a 2025 capex target of up to $65 billion.
