Dutch chipmaker Nexperia has suspended wafer supplies to its Chinese assembly plant, citing the local management's failure to meet contractual payment terms. This halt, effective since October 26, was revealed in a letter to customers. The disruption could potentially intensify the ongoing global chip shortages, which are already significantly affecting the automotive industry worldwide.
