Nexperia's China Unit Resumes Yuan-Only Chip Sales
Nexperia's Chinese unit has restarted selling chips to domestic distributors after a brief export ban, but now requires all transactions to be settled exclusively in yuan. This move follows the Dutch government seizing control of Nexperia due to an ownership dispute. The change aims to stabilize local supply while Nexperia explores finding new chip packaging partners outside of China.
