Nuclear AI: Valar and Nvidia Team Up to Cool Data Centers Without Water

Nuclear energy startup Valar has partnered with Nvidia to build a next-generation data center that aims to drastically cut water consumption. Instead of relying on traditional, water-heavy evaporative cooling systems, the facility will leverage Valar’s specialized compact nuclear reactors and advanced dry-cooling technologies to handle intense AI workloads sustainably, protecting vital local water resources.
