Nvidia's AI-Driven Surge Shakes Up Ethernet Switch Market
Nvidia has emerged as a significant challenger to Cisco and Arista in the Ethernet switch market, driven by massive demand for its Spectrum-X products for AI infrastructure. In Q3 2025, Nvidia's Ethernet switch revenue surged 167.7% year-over-year to $1 billion, giving it an 11.6% share in the rapidly expanding data center segment, according to IDC.
