Oracle-Silver Lake Consortium to Hold 80% of TikTok US Under New U.S.-China Deal
A new agreement between the U.S. and China will restructure TikTok’s U.S. operations under a new company, where Oracle, Silver Lake, and Andreessen Horowitz will lead a consortium owning about 80% of the business. ByteDance—the Chinese parent company—will retain the remaining stake. The new entity will feature a U.S.-dominated board, including one government-appointed member.
