Paytm Q2 Revenue Jumps 24%; Shifts Focus to AI and Merchant Growth
Paytm's operating revenue rose 24% year-on-year to ₹2,061 crore in the September quarter, driven by strong payments and financial services distribution. CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma stated the company will now aggressively focus on three key areas: expanding merchant services, leveraging Artificial Intelligence for new revenue streams and efficiency, and strengthening customer loyalty programs like 'Gold Coins.'
