Powering the Future: Meta Taps Reliance for Colossal Indian AI Hub

Facebook-parent Meta has partnered with Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries to construct its first built-to-suit, AI-enabled data center in India. Reliance will develop the 168-megawatt facility in Jamnagar, Gujarat, which Meta will lease to anchor its global AI infrastructure and core services. Reflecting a commitment to sustainability, the facility will be powered entirely by renewable energy and cooled using desalinated seawater.
