Quick Commerce Growth Unlikely to Guarantee Profitability

Amazon India chief Samir Kumar states that quick commerce (Q-Comm) is expected to scale and is highly valued by customers. However, he remains uncertain if the sector will achieve overall profitability by 2026. Amazon is committed to expanding its footprint, currently adding two dark stores daily, as it competes in the high-investment, cash-burning market.
