T-Mobile Acquires Mint Mobile’s Parent Company for up to $1.35B
<p>T-Mobile, the US-based wireless network operator, has announced the acquisition of Ultra Mobile, the parent company of discount carrier Mint Mobile, for a deal worth up to $1.35 billion. The acquisition is expected to accelerate T-Mobile’s expansion in the prepaid wireless market and help the company compete with rivals Verizon and AT&T.
