The Italian Job: Accenture Snaps Up Twin Digital Units from Engineering

Italian digital transformation leader Engineering is selling its Alfahealth and Industries eXcellence units to Accenture. Together, these divisions generated roughly 18% of Engineering's 2025 net revenue and 25% of its core earnings. The strategic divestment enables Engineering to prioritize its AI-native core services, while Accenture will integrate the acquisitions to aggressively scale its industrial software, healthcare data, and AI consulting footprint across Italy.
