US and India Finalize Landmark Interim Trade Agreement to Boost Bilateral Commerce

The United States and India have reached a historic interim trade agreement, significantly lowering barriers between the two nations. Under the new framework, India will reduce tariffs on U.S. industrial and agricultural goods, while the U.S. will cut reciprocal tariffs on Indian exports to 18%. Additionally, India plans to purchase $500 billion in U.S. energy and technology products over five years.
