Vantage Data Centers Secures $1.6B from GIC & ADIA to Expand Asia-Pacific Footprint
Vantage Data Centers has raised $1.6 billion from sovereign wealth funds GIC and ADIA to accelerate its growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Key is the acquisition of a 300+ MW hyperscale data center campus in Johor, Malaysia (JHB1), bolstering its APAC capacity toward 1 GW spread across Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Australia. The move addresses surging demand for cloud, AI infrastructure and edge computing.
