Hackers linked to Iranian government target critical US sectors

<p>Iran-backed hackers have targeted many victims in the US according to an advisory issued by American, British and Australian officials. Iran has exploited various zero-day vulnerabilities exposed by hackers in recent months. They have targeted entities in the transportation, health care and public health sectors. Maximum advantage was taken of the initial hack for additional operations --data exfiltration, ransomware and extortion -- by the hackers.<br />
