Himachal govt to develop software to link bus fares with diesel prices
<p>The state government of Himachal Pradesh is developing software to automatically determine bus fares in direct proportion to the fluctuating price of diesel, which is on par with petrol prices these days. Not much detail, however, is known about the proposed software. The state is also working on to make the functioning of the entire transport department -- registration, licences, permits online. Kangra and Shimla districts will be the first to go online from July 27.</p>
