Meta and Jio introduce WhatsApp grocery shopping in India

<p>Meta and a partnership between Reliance Retail along with Jio are bringing online grocery shopping to WhatsApp in India. They claimed that the end-to-end purchase process on the well-known instant messaging network was a first for the entire world. Customers will be able to explore the whole JioMart grocery inventory on WhatsApp, add products to a basket, and then complete the transaction using the UPI payment system without even leaving the platform.</p>
